The Flagler Phoenixes were created by Christopher Rhodes in 2013. At the time, the school celebrated all things Harry Potter by dedicating a month to it. One day out of the year, Flagler College hung hoops from palm trees and had the students play Quidditch. Rewind 7 years earlier; Alex Benope adapted Quidditch from JK Rowling's best selling "Harry Potter" series into an actual game that doesn't require flight. Fast forward 7 years later; Christopher heard of this and developed a permanent team at Flagler College through the SGA.
